Aden Tranter
Experience: Aden brings deep experience in software development, driven by a need to understand how things work from the inside out. That curiosity started with computers — the rabbit hole of "how does this actually work?" led him from Windows to Linux, and eventually through years of study trying to understand how keystrokes become pixels on a screen. He served as computer technician at Cleveland Youth Detention Centre, where he designed and built a system enabling inmates to safely access the internet. He later worked at BAE Systems Australia, where his contributions were instrumental in winning a national innovation award. Aden joined The Computer Workshop in 2025, bringing a clear vision for how better systems could eliminate double-handling and unnecessary paperwork — improving outcomes for both the team and its clients.
Biography:
Aden loves building things. It started with physical projects — crafting sailboats from wood, experimenting with hovercrafts, launching bottle rockets in the backyard. Naturally, he drifted into electronics, tinkering with circuits and components. These days he mostly builds software and web applications, but that fundamental joy of making something from nothing has never changed.
